“Het aangaan van een relatie met materiaal is voor makers dagelijkse kost. De ene kunstenaar zet het in om een concept uit te werken, de andere komt tot een samenwerking waarbij het materiaal en de maker meer gelijkwaardig zijn. Daarbij gaat het niet alleen om de fysieke vorm, maar ook om materiaal als drager van herinneringen.”

After a very nice opening afternoon on November 10th 2024, we've had some beautiful Sunday openings last months at my solo-exhibition at Hilvaria Studio's Foundation, with cello-electronics duo Leah Plave and Tiziano Teodori, saxofonist Javier Villegas, artist Nick Steur and artist and writer/poet Dorien de Wit.
